St Luke's Sunday School SUNDAY SEEKERS AT ST LUKE’S CHURCH Children of all ages are very welcome to come and join in the fun at Sunday seekers –St Luke’s Sunday school. We meet on Sunday mornings in the Church hall at 10am. We have fun and enjoy making things, gluing, painting, drawing, colouring, acting, singing, and listen to stories to help us learn: *Bible stories *The lord’s Prayer *About the Christian year *About the things we do in church *How to be kind, honest and helpful towards each other This helps form the basis upon which children can choose to build, or not, when they are older. We try to: *Set the best examples we can teaching children about our faith in a ‘Child friendly’ way, so that they can understand what we do and share the joy of worshipping with us. After a fun time we all go into the service to worship and pray together with the rest of the congregation. After awhile we are invited to tell everyone what we have been doing and to show our lovely creations. Parents/Carers are welcome to stay with their children. We are a friendly welcoming group. Sunday Seekers has a lot of adult support who are CRB checked. All are welcome after the Sunday Morning service to share a hot drink, squash and biscuits with many people from the church. Sunday Seekers look forward to meeting you and your family at 10am in the Church Hall.
